User Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

PlanItLocal integrates with the Meta Graph API (Facebook Login) to allow business owners to connect their Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts for digital advertising creation. We take user data privacy and data ownership seriously.

In accordance with Meta Platform Terms, you have the right to request the complete deletion of any personal data or authorized business asset tokens collected by PlanItLocal through Facebook Login.

Method 1 (Automatic)

Remove PlanItLocal from Your Facebook Account

You can immediately revoke access and trigger deletion of your connection through your Facebook account settings:

Log in to your Facebook profile on a browser or mobile device.
Navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
In the left sidebar (or menu), click on Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations).
Locate PlanItLocal in the list of active applications.
Click Remove.
Confirm your choice by checking the option to remove all posts, videos, or events if applicable, and click Remove.

Once removed, Meta sends an automated data deletion notification to PlanItLocal, and our system revokes stored tokens associated with your account.

Method 2 (Manual Request)

Request Direct Deletion from PlanItLocal

If you would like PlanItLocal to manually purge all stored Facebook tokens, connected Page IDs, Instagram actor IDs, and cached profile information from our database:

Send an email to support@planitlocal.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Include your registered PlanItLocal account email address and your Facebook Page Name / ID.

Our support team will process your request, permanently remove all associated tokens and entity records from our servers within 48 business hours, and reply with a formal deletion confirmation code.

Data That Is Deleted

Facebook User Access Tokens and Page Access Tokens.
Linked Facebook Page IDs, names, and profile avatars.
Linked Instagram Professional Account IDs and usernames.
Cached campaign draft targeting information referencing your Facebook assets.

Note: Financial transaction records and invoices for already-delivered advertising campaigns are retained in accordance with legal and tax compliance regulations.
